Hi Michael

Would you please approve my trusted list request for John Browning-1105? He is a direct ancestor of my family and I'd like to keep informed of updates to his profile.

Thank you, Sharon

Thank you for your research into the Gardner/ Gardiner family. I, myself, researched it a long time ago and my info matches yours!

Hi Michael, I've added citations on two of the profiles where you're manager: Andrew H. Wells, http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wells-9634 & [Roxanna] Cornelia "Unknown" [Marsh], http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unknown-298149

I was adding a profile that I was working on as a child of theirs: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wells-6896

As they seem certain to be identical to this couple on FamilySearch, https://familysearch.org/tree/#view=ancestor&section=details&person=LZT1-WRJ & https://familysearch.org/tree/#view=ancestor&section=details&person=L7MS-YM5, I wanted to ask if you would be kind enough to update her surname to "Marsh", since the records substantiate that and only the profile manager is able to change the LNAB.

Thanks! Jeffrey

Hi Michael, understood that you are not promoting "Rebecca Marbury" as the mother of Rebecca Maxson. Some background here -- a while ago I detached "Rebecca Marbury" as Richard Maxson's wife, but she has crept back in via merges, and there was another merge pending. So I added an explanation to discourage repeated re-attachment. The Maxsons aren't my ancestors, and you're welcome to modify what I added as you see fit.

Michael.

Which should the destination be: Ephraim Wells (Welles-409) or Ephraim Wells (Wells-8738)? These are Colchester, New London Co., CT Well(e)s. They seem to have used both name forms for the children of the family according to the available sources.

Hard to differentiate between the New London Well(e)s from the Rode Island Well(e)s, as New London Co., CT borders RI.

What do you think?

Hi Michael,

Can you provide me with the profile ID where you saw my comment about Sarah Wells? I cannot find anything that I wrote on a Gershom Palmer profile....and there are so many Sarah Wells...I do not know which one you are referring to....hope I can help once I get more information.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for posting your comment about sources on my profile. For the pre-1700 ancestors, there need to be some sources listed. Please be sure to list where you have obtained your information. For example, I was looking at Mary (Andrews) Whitehead on May 8 when I posted to your profile. Her profile lists no sources at all, and her birth place is likely to be wrong unless she was a Native American. With sources, people feel they can better rely on the accuracy of the data in the profile.

Thank you, Sharon
