David was born 1 Jul 1920 in Smithville, McCurtain, Oklahoma to Booker Lee Ford and Eule Love. He was 21 and living in Dayton, Columbia, Washington, when he registered for the WWII Draft. At that time he was listed as 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighed 155 pounds, with light complexion, blue eyes and Brown hair.[1]
He married Gloria Winnifred Shoemaker. They made lots of friends but one particular couple was Charles Paull and his wife Mary Eleanor Bouck. At one point one of the wives was caught cheating with the other's husband. As they talked it out, they realized they all loved the other person's spouse. Their solution, both couples divorced and married the other person they liked.[2][3][4]
Buster passed away 30 Nov 1985 in Ocean Park, Pacific, Washington.[5][6]
