-It is not unusual for records for this area to be found under the State of Maine Records. It is also common for death record to reflect a place of North Berwick which would have been still considered Berwick at the time of birth.
Marriage: 3 Dec 1829 Hannah Ford of Berwick, Maine married Ezra Billings in Berwick. The marriage was solemnized by Elder Nathaniel Lord.[4][5]
1850 Census, North Berwick, Maine:[6] Hannah age 42 and Ezra age 47 and their children are living in a home that Ezra owns. He is a famer. All the children except for 3 year old James have attended school in the last year. Son John, age 17, is working as a blacksmith. There is a 21 year old Daniel Chick living in the household whose occupation is listed as laborer.
Death: Hannah Billings passed away on 8 Aug 1893 in North Berwick, Maine from gastric enteritis she was aged 85 years, 1 month and 27 days.[1] She is buried in her husband's small family cemetery, which contains about 7 memorials, on the west side of Oak Woods Road in North Berwick.[7]
