Biography
Abigail was born in 1782. Moved west from upstate New York, formerly of Braintree, Vermont, and in the 1850 Census lived with son Aaron Harwood Jr. in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. Aaron Sr. & Abigail Ford Harwood are included in the 1886 publication on the History of Braintree Vermont, by Henry Royce Bass for the Centennial Celebration. Aaron and Abigail's family is listed on page 149. Aaron's parents Lydia and Samuel Harwood are profiled in this publication with Biographical Sketches as is Abigail's Ford Family.
