Biography

Richard Fordham and Agnes Aswell were married in Kelshall on 26 November 1559.^[1]

William Fordam the son of Richard Fordham was baptized on 10 February 1565.^[2]

In 1585 Richard Fordham, of Kelsey (Kelshall), Herts, yeoman, was a defendant for debt in Common Pleas. ^[3]

In 1589 Richard Fordham and his wife were involved in a land transaction by final concord:

1589 Thomas Smartefoote son and heir apparent of Thos. Smartfoote : Richard Fordham and Agnes his wife. Two messuages & lands in Kelshall alias Kelsey, Therfeild and Sandon.^[4]
