Biography
Marie Forest is a descendant of an Acadian
Marie Marguerite was born in 1776 and baptized on the day of her birth. Her parents were Simon Forest and Rosalie Richard. [1]
François Perrault, son of the late Joseph Perrault and the late Marie Anne Laperche, and Marie Forest, daughter of Simon Forest and the late Rosalie Richard, were married 22 Sep 1795 in the parish of L'Assomption, Bas-Canada. [2]

Marie Forest died about 29 Jul 1859, Saint-Paul, Canada-Est. [3]
Research Notes
Burial record is badly damaged. The parish index shows a burial entry for Marie Forest on page 34V 1859. [4] The entry on page 34V is mostly illegible, but Fr Perreault is written in the upper left margin. There are no index entries for the burial of a Francois Perreault, the notation indicates Marie is the widow of Francois. The entry immediately preceding is dated 28 Jul 1859, the one immediately after is dated 29 Jul 1859.
