Hello Priscilla Savary, This person's name is written "Miles Forest" in the book "Miscellanea Genealogica Et Heraldica", by Bruce Bannerman. It is given as "Miles Forrest" in British History Online (Parishes: Morborne) and in "Alumni Cantabrigienses".

I know no more about this chap that appears in his profile. I "adopted" the profile.

Surnames are known to have been spelt erratically in the sixteenth century. Perhaps first names too.

Perhaps I'll do some more work on the profile, taking your point into account. But please feel free to add to the profile and improve it. Cheers, Alan Chisholm

Do you have a source for this spelling of his name? It seems to be the most frequently used in ancestry trees, but a search of The National Archives, United Kingdom, gives his spelling as Myles Forrest.

Just to make it more uncertain...Wikiwand has his first name spelled with an 'i' and his family name with two 'r's. But they include no reference for him. It is about his younger brother Thomas.
