Biography

Marie Marguerite Foret, daughter of Jacques Forest and Marguerite Genevieve Comeau, was born 19 September 1764 at St Servan, France.^[1] She was baptised at Saint-Servan the day she was born.^[2]

She married Jean Baptiste Aucoin in France in 1784.^[3]

She arrived in New Orleans on "La Ville d'Archangel." on December 1785,^[5]

In 1797 she married Antoine Bellard in Opelousas, Louisiana.^[6]
