Biography

Bearnet (Bernard) was born in 1866, june 15 in St-Sauveur, Québec. [1] . He is the son of William Forest and Margaret McLauglin.

In the 1891 census, Bernard, 20 years old (actually 25 years old) lives in the Township of Clyde & Joly, Ottawa County with his parents.

At the age of 27, Bernard leaves the village of La Conception in the Laurentians by train to join his brothers Thomas and John in Leadville, Colorado. He arrived on January 10, 1893. In 1897, in the Leadville directory, Barney is a blacksmith helper for Bi-Metallic Smelter. He was naturalized American October 6, 1919 at the age of 53 years. He lives in Humboldt, Yavapai County, Arizona, works as a blacksmith and says he is not married.

He died before 1936 because on the death of his brother John in Colorado, it is mentioned that three brothers survive him, Patrick James, James and Neil.

En 1897, dans l'Annuaire de Leadville, il est aide-forgeron pour Bi-Metallic Smelter, son frère Thomas y travaille aussi et leur frère ainé John est mineur. Il est naturalisé américain le 6 octobre 1919 à l'âge de 53 ans, dans le comté de Yavapai en Arizona. Il habite à Humboldt dans le comté de Yavapai en Arizona, travaille comme aide-forgeron et déclare ne pas être marié.

Il serait décédé avant 1936 car au décès de son frère John au Colorado, il est mentionné que trois frères lui survivent, Patrick James, James et Neil.
