Mrs. Winnie Sims, widow of the late Captain John Sims, died at her home near Marvin last Tuesday, after a long spell of sickness. She was nearly 70 years old. She was twice married. Her fist husband was a Marriott/Merriott (there is a long & unfortunate story about how the name was changed) who passed away several years ago. She leaves four sons and one daughter, besides many relatives and dear friends to mourn her departure. She was a good Christian. Her remains were interred Wednesday in the Ritchie cemetery.
