Biography
Lavinia was born in 1872. She is the daughter of George Forsyth and Margaret Cooper.
She was just 2 years old when she arrived in Otago on the ship Invercargill with her family.
On 24 July 1901 Lavinia Forsyth married George Rosenbrook. George and Lavinia had 6 known children in the marriage, a daughter Margaret Barbara and 5 sons, Albert, John, George, Frederick and Albert.

Lavinia's brother George had married Barbara Rosenbrook the previous year.
George Rosenbrook passed away in 1932 at Dunedin aged 56.
Lavinia later moved to Auckland where she died in 1953 aged 79. Ashes burial Waikumete Cemetery.
