Biography
Robert was the son of Robert Forsyth b 1768 and Agnes Bell b 1772.
Robert married Elizabeth Bell. Her dates are 1799-1818. Their only child was Robert Hazlett Forsyth/Forsythe b 1819.
Research Notes
Research on this family was conducted by the late Warren Louis "Tuck" Forsythe of Ellensburg, Washington. He has no sources on FamilySearch for the information about Elizabeth Bell Forsyth. According to Tuck, Elizabeth was born 20 Jan 1797 in County Down, Ireland and died 18 July 1819 in Guernsey County, Ohio. Robert and Elizabeth were married 19 Mar 1818 in Harrison County, Ohio.
After Elizabeth's death Robert married Sarah "Sally" Frame, daughter of Thomas Frame and Elizabeth Baird, of Guernsey County.[1] Sally Frame Forsyth died in 1862
Robert married Isabella W. Boals 28 Apr 1864.
