Biography

John Forsyth was likely born in 1806 and christened on 17 November 1806 in Penicuik, Midlothian, Scotland. His parents were James Forsyth and Helen Scott ^[1][2]

On 25 October 1828 he married Charlotte Cockburn in Direleton, East Lothian, Scotland.^[3]
