Jane (Jean) was largely responsible in bringing up Robert, age 4 when his mother died. Both Annie and Jean lived with their dad, Edward. After Annie's death in 1953 Jean carried on until 1956.
She went to live in Turriff and died there but is buried in New Aberdour in the family plot.
She was a very nice person to know
