SANGER - Lela Mae Douglass, a retired teacher and home economist, died Thursday at a Denton health care facility. She was 88. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger. Burial will be in Rosston Cemetery. Mrs. Douglass was born in Greenwood. Survivors: Two brothers, Willis Fortenberry of Boyd and Hardie Fortenberry of Hurst.[1] [2]
