Marguerite was born on 09 Feb 1817 and baptized the following day in St-Gervais, Bellechasse. She was the daughter of Thomas Fortier and Marie Roy.
Marguerite married twice. Her first marriage was to Olivier Rousseau on 20 May 1844 in Ste-Claire, Bellechasse. Olivier dies on 08 Jan 1867 and on 25 Oct 1875 Marguerite marries for a second time to Francois Noel in St-Isidore, Quebec.
