Biography
Hilaire Fortier died young.
Hilaire Fortier was born on 19 Jan 1830 and was baptized on 20 Jan in Saint-Pierre-de-Sorel parish. He was the son of Godfrois Fortier and his wife Julie Lagrave of this parish. Godparents at Hilaire's baptism were Alexis Lagrave & Magdeleine Carpentier; Godfroy Fortier, father, signed the register.
Hilaire died at the age of 6 months on 14 July 1830 and was buried the next day in the Saint-Pierre-de-Sorel parish cemetery in Richelieu.
