Biography

Michel Fortier was born on June 5, 1821, in Ste. Marie-de-Beauce, New France[1]. Michel is the son of Charles Fortier and Elizabeth Jalbert[1]. He married Marie-Luce Boutin on May 25, 1841, in St. Isidore de Lauzon, Québec (Canada East)[2]. Michel Fortier died in 1913 in Thetford Mines, Québec[3].
