Thanks for clarifying this and cleaning up the two profiles and fixing the child link that I added. Before I think they both were shown as married to the same man and I was confused when adding in some descendents that have been identified via DNA testing.

Fortier-865 and Fortier-888 are not ready to be merged because: More research is needed. I think there were two sisters and the first died in childhood, according to Tanguay.

Fortier-865 and Fortier-888 appear to represent the same person because: These seem to definitely be the same person with each profile missing a child present on the other profile
