Biography

Joseph, fils de Joseph FORTIN et d'Euphrosine DUBREUIL, est né le 28 octobre 1843 et baptisé le lendemain à St-Anicet. [1]

Le 2 novembre 1870 en la Paroisse Ste-Cécile de Valleyfield, il épouse Joséphine SÉGUIN, fille de Louis et de Rachel FAUVETTE de la Paroisse St-Raphaël, en Ontario. [2] Leurs enfants connus sont (Sources: IGD et BAC:

  3. Délia, vers 1876 (mariée en 1895 à Angus LAJAMBE)
  4. Antoine/Anthony, 1878 (marié en 1914 à Mary LEGAULT)

  7. Napoléon, 1888 (marié en 1915 à Marcelline BEAUSOLEIL)
  8. Janvier/James, 1893

De 1891 à 1911 la famille est recensée à Charlottenburg en Ontario. En 1891, ils ont les enfants suivants: Joseph, 17; Léon, 15; Délia, 14; Antoine, 11; Joséphine, 7; Corinne, 5 et Napoléon, 3 ans. [3]
