Biography

Ena I. (Eva) Fortune was born in November 1894, the oldest of 4 known children of James Fortune and Ester Elizabeth Johnson. She was born in Missouri but her siblings, Ruth, Austin and Mary Frances Fortune were all born in Washington state. Eva worked as a stenographer in a grocery store in 1920.[1]
