Eugene was born in 1858. He is the son of George Edmund and Marcia (Noble) Foss. He passed away in 1939.

BOSTON, Sept. 13 (AP)--Eugene Noble Foss, three times Governor of Massachusetts[1], former Congressman and prominent manufacturer, died today of a heart attack at his home here in the Jamaica Plain section. He was 80 years old. [New York Times, September 14, 1939, Page 31]
