Washington Foss was a Civil War Veteran.

Enlisted as a Private on 29 August 1862, at the age of 18, in Company A, 20th Infantry Regiment Maine. He was transferred to Company F. Discharged on 15 Jun 1864.

He passed away in 1919. Cause of death was apoplexy. Burial: Hutchins Corner Cemetery, Wellington, Piscataquis County, Maine, USA. Plot: Grave 58. [1]
