Biography

Paul Foster was born c1765 (from age at death) in that part of Machias, Maine, later set off as East Machias, the son of Wooden Foster and Frances Scott; [1] [2] died at East Machias, Maine, 10 Jun 1821, ae 55y, [3] and is buried in the East Machias Village Cemetery. [4]

He married (1) at Machias, 28 Jul 1792, Elizabeth "Betsey" Webber. [5] [6] [7] [8] They apparently divorced after the birth of their youngest child, and Paul married (2) Helen Livermore. [1]

Lived in that part of Machias, later set off as East Machias. [9] [10] [11] [12]

Revolutionary War veteran. [13] [14]

I think at least one of the Revolutionary War sources belong to Paul Foster of Beverly.
