Mary Foster was born about 1743 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to parents Edmond Foster and Tabitha Collins. She married John Rousey (Rowsey) about 1765 in Amherst, Virginia. Children: Edmond, Elizabeth, Stephen, James, Elizabeth, Catherine, Winslow, Foster, Margaret, Mary (Clarisa) Holiday, John, Clara. She died in Oct 1815 in Elbert, Georgia.
