Biography
Asa was born in 1765 in Andover, Massachusetts. He is the son of Asa Foster and Hannah Peters.
He was a member of Benedict Arnold's staff at the time of that traitor's desertion. Asa was well respected until his death in Canterbury, New Hampshire at the age of 96.
