Josephine was born in 1927. She was the daughter of Howard Foster and Hulda Burgess. She passed away in 2012.

" Josephine M. Kiler, 85 of Boise, went to be with her loving angels, peacefully at home on July 6, 2012. A vigil services will be held, Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at St Marks Catholic Church, Boise. A Mass of Christian burial will be held, Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11:00 am at St Marks Church, followed by graveside services at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.

Jo also known as JoJo was born July 2, 1927 to Howard E. Foster and Mildred Burgess Foster in Boise. There she attended Boise schools and graduated from St. Teresa's Academy. She met Alvard Kiler in February 1946 and was lovingly married for nearly 66 years. They were married on September 1, 1946 at St. John's Cathedral in Boise and they raised five beautiful children.

Jo was a very active volunteer at St. Alphonsus Auxiliary, Ministry of the Women's prison, and assisted with refugee support. She was a founding member of the New St. Marks Catholic Church. Her many activities included her large family and many friends, ice skating, gardening, oil painting (in her last few months she produced three beautiful works of art), cross country skiing, riding her bicycle, and travel; including the Holy Land and the Vatican (The highlight was seeing the Pope). The dearest to her heart were the convictions she had in her faith.

Jo's employment included the Federal Department of Agriculture and was a long time employee at CC Andersons/the Bon Marche and retired from Idaho Power Company after 15 years. She was a long time member of the BAA as well as an avid Broncos fan.

Survivors include her loving husband Alvard (Al) and her children

Grandchildren Shaun Jensen and his wife Jessica, Shanna McKnight and her husband Cory, Sunshine Day, Joseph Kiler, Justin Kiler, Corby Kiler, Jordan Kiler, and Mackenzie Kiler and eight great grandchildren. Sisters Patricia Lewis and Betty Hames. Brother Edward Foster and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Joseph Foster, Son in law Steven Jensen and grandson Brad Doane.
