Biography

Edna Anna Foster was born on February 18, 1882, in Richfield, Summit County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Coulson Foster and Polly Maria Carter. She married George Vasco Strickler on December 24, 1902, in Summit County, Ohio. They were farmers and had six children during their marriage. She died on March 2, 1967, in Macedonia, Summit County, Ohio, at the age of 85, and was buried in Hudson, Summit County, Ohio.

Macedonia - Mrs. Edna A. Strickler, 85, a life resident of Summit County, died Thursday at Cooper's Nursing Home in Tallmadge where she had been a patient for two months.

Mrs. Strickler of 1353 E. Twinsburg rd. was born in Twinsburg.

She leaves daughters, Mrs. Netta Scheurmann and Mrs. Martha Drushal of Macedonia and Mrs. Edna Sims of Walled Lake, Mich.; sons, George and grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home, Northfield, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Boston Heights. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
