Benjamin Foster was born about 1644 at either Lynn or Southampton on Long Island; to parents Christopher Foster and his wife Frances (Stevens) Foster. The Christopher Foster family moved to Long Island in 1644.[1]
His wife's name was Lydia; her surname is unknown. Their first child was born at Southampton on July 21, 1669.[1]
Benjamin wrote his will on January 25, 1704/5 with his wife Lydia residuary Legatee and executrix.[1]
