Biography

He most probably died in the Civil War. He never claimed a portion of James Sterlings estate that he was due. He was at the right age to have served nearly the whole war. There was a Francis Foster who served with the Alabama, 34th, Co G., who is buried in Chattanooga, TN that may have been him.
