The wedding took place iast evening at St. Paul's pro-Cathedral, of Miss Doris Edith Robieeon, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. C. Robieson, Oriental Bay, and Mr. Laurence Dallington Foster, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Foster, the Ven. Archdeacon Johnson officiating. The bride's gown was of pale blue chermeuse, with, al bodice of silver lace and blue georgette and side-panels embroidered with silver cord, with which was worn a white tulle veil and mob-cap of silver lace encircled with orange blossoms, and she carried a sheaf of pale golden roses. The chief bridesmaid, Miss Phyllis Robieson, and her cousin, Miss Cara Robieson, wore dainty little frocks of heliotrope net over pink silk, trimmed with tiny pink roses and heliotrope ribbon. They also wore heliotrope veils, and carried posies of pink rosebuds and beaded bags, the gifts of the bridegroom. The maid of honour, Miss Nancy Foster, wore a frock of pale pink charmeuse, with overdress of pink eire lace, trimmed with mother-of-pearl sequins and trails of rosebuds, a mobcap of eire lace, and veil, and carried a sheaf of pink daisies arid a beaded bag. Mr. Leslie Foster was best man, and Mr. Guy Robieson groomsman. The reception was held at Telford-terrace, and among the numerous guests were : Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Foster, Mr and Mrs. Webley (Christchurch), Mr. and Mrs: Button, Miss B. Cook, Mrs. Murdoch (Christchurch,) Mr. and, Mrs. Henry Hawk, Mrs. Herbert Hawk, Mrs. Jackson-Palmer, Dr. and Mrs. Earp-Thomas, Miss B. Arrowsmith (Bay of Plenty), Dr. and Mrs. C. Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Digges Smith, the Misses Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. C. Robieson, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Robieson (Masterton), Miss M. E. Robieson., Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Bridge, and many young friends of the bride and bridegroom. The bride and bridegroom left by motor for the Auckland district, the bride's travelling costume consisting of a coat-frock of navy silk taffeta and serge, embroidered with chenille, and a long coat of navy serge, braided and trimmed with eyelet embroidery, and a hat to match.
