Katherine Foster was born in Topsfield, Massachusetts, on August 21, 1696, the daughter and eldest child of Daniel Foster and his second wife, Mary Dresser.Forster, Edward Jacob.[1]
She married, November 5, 1719, at Lebanon, Connecticut, John Calkin.[2] on November 5, 1719 in Lebanon, New London, Connecticut Colony.[3]
Katherine Calkins presumably died sometime between June 10, 1736, when her youngest child was born, and May 4, 1746, the date her father's will was written. She was not directly mentioned in her father's will, instead he made bequests "to the heirs of Katharine Calkin my eldest daughter the sum of Five Shillings."[4]
