He=is father served in the French and Indian war with George Washington. Unsourced family trees indicate that George (Washington) Foster was born 1760 or 1763 in Charlotte, Virginia Colony, son of William Foster and Elizabeth Whitlock, and that he died 1785 in Tennessee, or 1787 or 1819.
