Well, actually, given how early he was born, we don't know what it was called then. Sigh. I tried my best with "Powhatan Nation (Virginia)" but this is going to generate an error as well because of the parentheses, which are not allowed. I'll start a g2g discussion thread about what to do in these cases.
Hi William. I notice you changed the birth place of Powhatan-170 to "present day Virginia". While technically accurate, this will generate an error in wikitree's error-tracking software as only place names are allowed in place fields. Wikitree's guidelines are to "use their convention not ours" so we're supposed to enter the name of the place as it was known at that time. Profile will be edited to align with these recommendations. Sorry; I know your intentions were in the right place.
William , I received a message asking that I add the Virginia Project to the trusted list of the Jamestowe Project. I have no clue why I would get this message. Then it appears the Virginia Project wants access to a great many of my watchlist. I don't understand what is being asked of me. Thank You.
