Marguerite Fougere was born 2 February 1715. She was the daughter of Jean Fougère and Marie Bourg. She was baptized at birth by Abraham Bourg. She and her sister were baptized in the church St Jean Baptiste at Port Royal, Acadia on Feb 24 1715. Marguerite's godparents were Nicolas Gautier and Renée Bourg.[1] She passed away in March 1715, aged one month and was buried 4 March 1715 in the cemetery of St Laurent Chapel upriver.[2][3]
