Biography

Frank Fouts was born on January 29, 1888 in Boston, Massachusetts according to his WWI Draft record.^[1] He was actually named at birth, Frank John Sylvester, born in Leominster, Massachusetts on January 29, 1888.^[2][3] He was the son of John Sylvester and Nancy E _____. ^{[3] [4]}

Frank Sylvester was listed as an orphan (possibly from the Orphan Train^[5]) who lived with Joseph and Delilah Fouts in the 1900 census.^[6] By 1910, Frank's last name at birth is listed as Fouts, which he used until he died.^[7][8]

Frank married Beulah Curtis on February 11, 1913 in Fulton County, Indiana.^[9] They had 3 children, Harold, Willis, and Marjorie Fouts.^[10][11][12]

Frank died on April 28, 1959 in Rochester.^[13] He is buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico (Miami County), Indiana.^[8]
