Priscilla was born in 1766. She is the daughter of John Fowler and Molly Mitchell.
She was married to Reuben Stone. There is no direct evidence of this marriage but the following documents indicate that she was married to Reuben Stone. 1) Her father's 1787 Will names her as Priscilla Stone. 2) The Revolutionary War Pension Application of her husband includes a letter from her cousin Moses Fowler responding to a request for his bounty land grant to be sent to him from South Carolina to prove his service. 3) Reuben Stone's great-grandson, Austin Miller Lee, applied for membership in the National Society of Sons of the American Revolution. The application gives Reuben's wife as Priscilla. 4) Numerous DAR applications from Reuben Stone's descendants give his wife's maiden name as Mary Priscilla Fowler.
