DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with D by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with D:

Thank you for your assistance with the Weiland/Wieland branch of my family tree, the name is spelt two different ways, Weiland being the correct spelling I appreciate any assistance. Weiland family is in Qld, NSW and Vic. My original Australian ancestry begins In 1838 with the Seckold ( Sickold In Germany) and Peden from Scotland and many varied connections along the way. As we say in our research WE ARE ONE BUT WE ARE MANY. Thank you again for additional info and for corrections were I had checked and found an error made by me

Thank you Denise for your assistance. The research has been done by myself in Victoria Australia and with Kate (my third cousin) from Edinburgh, Scotland now also adding her OWN RESEARCHED KNOWLEDGEknowledge. WE ARE ADVISING EACH OTHER WHEN WE ADD RECORDS,

I stand corrected on the changes that you made on Sarah Jane Jebb. I rechecked and I was incorrect. Thank you for that. She is a relative of mine.

Hello D,

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.

Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
