James was born May 1, 1846, the son of John Fowler and Catherine Kesler[1].
He married Mary Ann Catherine McEwan.
He married Samantha Jane Beard[1].
He died April 26, 1923, and was buried in Jones Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, Madison County, Georgia, Plot: 1011[1].
