He formerly lived in the Idaville community. He was born on Jan. 21, 1887 in Carroll county, the son of Wi- liam and Belle Humbert Fowler His marriage on Dec. 13, 1913 was to Edna Crain, who precec- ed him in death on Nov. 13, 1959 He was a retired farmer an was a member of the Oak Grove Christian church. Survivors include three daugh- ters: Mrs. Thelma Tipton, rural route 1, Tipton, with whom he resided at the time of his death Mrs. Norma Rayburn, of Good- land; and Mrs. Mildred Cox, of Muncie; two sons, Dale, of Id- ville and Walter, of Logansport eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers. Baker of Monticello; and Frances, Reynolds; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Million, of Monticello; and Mrs Ray Burgett, of South Bend. Funeral services will be held a 11 a.m. Thursday at the Miller funeral home in Monticello with burial in the Idaville cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
