Marriage

GILLMAN-FOWLER.-April 22, 1916, at All Saints' Church, Hunter's Hill, by the Rev. Edward Owen, Audley H. youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Pullen Gillman, The Moorings, Mosman, to Una M. eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Fowler, Allowah, Vernon-street, Hunter's Hill, and late of Rosewood Station, Young. At home, Allowah, May 11. [1]
WEDDING.
A wedding was celebrated at All Saints' Church, Hunter's Hill, on April 22 by the Rev. E. Owen, B.A., when Miss Una Maud, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs. J. A. Fowler, of Hunter's Hill, was married to Mr. Audley Henry Gillman (Manager Government Savings Bank, Grenfell), younger son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Gillman, of Mosman. The bride wore a short frock of ivory satin over shell-pink, with bands of ninon inlet, edged with kilted frills of satin. The veil of rose point lace was the work of the bride's friend, Miss Kathleen Montgomery, and was lent by Mrs. Rothery. Her sprays of Orange blossom were previously worn by the bride's mother She carried an early Victorian posy, and wore a diamond cluster ring, gifts of the bridegroom. The bridesmaids were Misses Doris Fowler (sister of the bride) and Jessie Gillman (sister of the bridegroom). The best man was Mr. Ashley Gillman (brother of the bridegroom), and the groomsman Mr. Joe Tunney, Young. After the ceremony, a reception was held at "Allowah." [2][3]
