John was born about 1878. He is the son of John Fowler and Mary Babe Baggett.

Research Notes

1900 census gives his birthdate as Feb. 1878.

1910 census gives his age as 25, which would make his birth year about 1885, probably incorrect.

Maternal relationship is confirmed by a ancestry.com test match between Mack Tyner III GEDmatch A541884 and his third cousin John Fowler . Their Most Recent Common Ancestor (MRCA) is their second great grandfather James Malcolm Baggett. Estimated number of generations to MRCA = 3.9, based on sharing 19 cM of DNA across 2 segments.
