William was born in 1831. He passed away in 1895. He is the son of America Fowler and Bethany Mooney. William had a blacksmith shop on Park Ave. [1]

I, 3rd Arkansas Infantry, July 18, 1862; wounded and captured at the Wilderness, Virginia, May 6, 1864; confined at Elmira, New York, July 27, 1864; released on oath of allegiance, June 16, 1865; born at Rome, Georgia, December 11, 1831; died at Mountain Valley, Arkansas, December 27, 1895; married (1) Mary Jane Oates; married (2) Sarah Tennessee Geurin; widow filed Arkansas pension application #17949 from Garland county, August 7, 1914; occupation farmer; bought land in Garland county in 1860 and 1882.
