Bonnie Mae Fox, Born 7 Jan 1914 in Rozel, Pawnee County, Kansas, daughter to Arthur B. Fox (1888-1980), from Pawnee County, Kansas and Ida M. Smith (1891-1969), from Rush County, Kansas.
The Fox family lived in Conkling, Pawnee, Kansas in 1920. [1] Bonnie was 6, she lived with her parents and siblings, Glen S Fox 8, Howard W Fox 3 and Harold R Fox 2.
Bonnie was murdered, along with her husband Herbert Clutter, and her children Kenyon Clutter , 15 and Nancy Clutter, 16, by two paroled ex-convicts in their home in Holcomb, Kansas in November 1959. The story around their murders and subsequent trial of their killers was made famous when they were depicted in writer Truman Capote's 1966 true crime novel "In Cold Blood." [2]
