John Fox was born about 1817 in Tennessee. [1]
John W Fox married Eliza Jane Woolard on May 11, 1836 in Maury County Tennessee. [2]
In 1850, John, age 33 (born about 1817 in TN), lived in Polk County, Missouri with wife Eliza J and children. [1]
According to family stories, just prior to the Civil War, John was killed by bushwhacker’s in about 1858. [3]
