Elizabeth (Fox) Howlett was born in Norfolk, England.

Elizabeth Fox was the daughter of John Fox and Elizabeth Dunthorn. She was baptised on 12 Jan 1800 in Great Ellingham, Norfolk.^[1]

In 1816 she married Robert Howlett.^[2] They had seven children.

At the time of the 1851 census^[3] they lived at Church Street, Bawburgh, Norfolk.
