Burial: Hammond Cemetery, Highlandville, Christian Co, MO
Mrs. Sarah Alice White, 92, died Sunday at 4:45 p.m. in her home south of Highlandville. A member of Highlandville Church of Christ, she moved to the community as a child and had resided at the same place 60 years. Mrs. White is survived by two sons, Press White of the home, and Allen White of Spokane; three daughters, Mrs. Lora Wells, 608 West Walnut, Springfield and Miss Ethel White and Mrs. Grace Wilson, both of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Phipps of Highlandville and Mrs. Clara Landers of Willard; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services were at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Harris Chapel at Ozark. The Rev. Howard Blevins officiated, and burial was in Highlandville (Hammond) Cemetery.
