Samuel Browning was born in 1787 in Virginia; he died in May of 1860 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. He married Mary Fields in Nelson Co., Kentucky on 7 June 1815. Mary was the daughter of Joseph Fields and Elizabeth Willingham.
Their son, Joseph Browning was born in 1829, Married Eliza E Hilton in Bullitt County, Kentucky 10 Dec 1861. Eliza's parents were Alexander Hilton Jr. and Nancy Bolton.
Their daughter, Eliza Angie Browning, born 8 June 1880 in Bulllitt Co., Kentucky died 24 September 1959, married to James Charles Fox on 24 September 1904 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. James Charles Fox was born 25 Dec., 1879 in Bullitt Co., died 30 July 1935 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. His parents were Martin A. Fox and Eliza Hibbs. James and Eliza were the parents of 12 children.
Their daughter, Eliza Ellen Fox was born 20 July 1917 in Bullitt Co., died 15 Aug 1964 at St. Joseph Infirmary, Jefferson Co, Kentucky. She was married to Raymond B. Crenshaw on 28 Aug 1948. He was born on 1 Oct 1917 in Bullitt Co., and died 25 June 2009 in Bullitt Co., His parents were Grover Cleveland Crenshaw and Maggie Mae Greenwell.
