Biography

Ann Fox was born in about 1832 in Manea, Cambridgeshire, England to Jonathan Fox and Elizabeth (Tombleson) Fox - she was christened on 19 Feb 1832 in Manea.[1]

In 1841 Ann Foss (age 9) lived at High Street in Coveney, Cambridgeshire with her father Jonathan (43), mother Elizabeth (29), and three siblings: Jonathan (6), Elizabeth (4), and Emma (2).[2]

In 1851 Ann Fox (age 19, House Servant) lived at Waldersea in Elm, Cambridgeshire in the household of her employer Lancelot Reed.[3]

Ann Fox (age 23, daughter of Johnathan Fox) married William Todd (age 23, son of Robert Todd) on 16 Oct 1855 in Manea.[4] The marriage was registered in North Witchford, Cambridgeshire in the last quarter of the year.[5]

Ann and William had four sons:

  1. William Francis Todd (1856-)
  2. Alfred Robert Todd (1858-)
  3. Arthur Todd (1860-)
  4. Charles Todd (1864-)

In 1861 Ann Todd (age 28) lived at Charlton Kings Road in St Pancras, Middlesex with her husband William (28, Carpenter) and three sons: William F (5), Alfred R (3), and Arthur (0), as well as lodger John Todd (30, Carpenter).[6]

In 1871 Ann Todd (age 39) lived in St Pancras with her husband Wm (39, Carpenter and Blind Maker) and four sons: Wm Francis (14, Carpenter and Blind Maker), Alfred Robert (12, Scholar), Arthur (10, Scholar), and Charles (7, Scholar).[7]

In 1881 Ann Todd (age 49) lived at Torranio Avenue in St Pancras with her husband William (49, Carpenter) and four sons: William F (24, Carpenter), Alfred R (22, Smith Unemployed), Arthur R (20, Assistant School Master), and Charles (17, Carpenter).[8]

In 1891 Ann Todd (age 59) lived at Torriano Avenue in Saint Pancras with her husband William (60, Carpenter & Blindmaker) and two sons: Arthur (30, Schoolmaster Assistant) and Charles (27, Painter House).[9]

In 1901 Ann Todd (age 70) lived in St Pancras with her husband William (70, Carpenter), son Charles (36, P[a]inter), and granddaughter Ada (5).[10]

Ann's husband passed away in 1907.

In 1911 Ann Todd (age 79) lived in Kentish Town, St Pancras with her son Charles (47, Decorator Painter).[11]

Ann Todd passed away in 1924, aged 93 years. Her death was registered in Pancras in the first quarter of the year.[12]
