Biography
Esther Hannah Fox was born in 1881 in Bethnal Green, London, England to Thomas Valentine Fox and Maria (Milton) Fox. Her birth was registered in Bethnal Green in the second quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Milton.[1]
In 1881 Esther H Fox (age 0) lived at Chapel Street in Bethnal Green with her father Thomas V (32, Engine Driver & Stoker), mother Maria (29), and brother George N (4).[2]
In 1891 Esther A Fox (age 10, Scholar) lived at Long Street in Shoreditch, London with her father Thomas V (42, Stoker & Stationary Engine Driver), mother Maria (39), and four siblings: George W (14, Tin Box Maker), Alfred S (6, Scholar), Minnie E (5, Scholar), and Sidney A (0).[3]
Esther Hannah Fox married Thomas Henry Hardwick in 1900. The marriage was registered in Shoreditch in the second quarter of the year.[4]
Esther and Thomas had six children: Thomas Sidney Hardwick (1900-1985), Alfred George Hardwick (1902-), Minnie Esther Hardwick (1905-), George William Hardwick (1907-1907), Rose Matilda Hardwick (1910-1910), and Violet Winifred Hardwick (1912-).
In 1901 Esther Hardwicke (age 20) lived at Asplins Road in Tottenham, Middlesex with her husband Thomas (22, Railway Carter) and son Thomas (0).[5]
In 1911 Esther Hardwick (age 31) lived in Bethnal Green with her husband Thomas (29, Carman) and three children: Thomas (10), Alfred (8), and Minnie (6).[6]
Esther Harwick passed away in 1914, aged 33 years. Her death was registered in Shoreditch in the second quarter of the year.[7]
